P.A. girls take win in volleyball tournament

The Prince Albert Optimist Toppers En Fuego volleyball team won a major tournament this weekend.

During the 13U Subway Sask Cup No. 1 tournament in Lloydminster over the weekend, the team defeated the Saskatoon JCVC Fierce in two sets 25-18 and 26-24.

In the tournament, 14 teams competed from all over Saskatchewan.

The Optimist Toppers are coached by Darrell Oleksyn, Angus McLeod and Kelly Cornelson.
