A 24-year-old Prince Albert man will appear in court Tuesday morning in connection to a violent incident that happened at a residence in the city on Sunday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, police went out to the 1400 block of 28th Street East for a disturbance complaint.

Prior to arrival at the residence, police were told that a male had just stabbed two people and was attempting to leave the scene.  Police located the suspect soon after and arrested him without incident.

Two victims, a 60-year-old female and a 58-year-old male, both suffering from stab wounds, were able to drive themselves to the Victoria Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
