The man accused of a dirty needle stickup has been denied bail.

The charge was laid against Timothy Charles Turner in late November after an acquaintance told police he surrendered money and his gloves to Turner following the threat.

Prince Albert police arrested the accused, 40-year-old Turner, days after a man reported he was walking home and threatened with a needle. According to police Turner ran away after the incident, while the complainant was left unhurt.

This Nov. 29 incident led to charges of assault with a weapon, a charge of robbery and breach of probation.
