Roughriders announce new president and CEO

Craig Reynolds will take over the reins as the president and CEO of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The club made the announcement Tuesday afternoon that Reynolds will take over the top job from Jim Hopson. He will officially take over the job on March 1, 2015.

Reynolds has been with the club for six years. He currently serves as the senior vice president and chief financial officer. 

Hopson announced in May that he would be stepping away from the team. 

The Roughriders have achieved tremendous success on and and off the field since Hopson took over the position of CEO and president in 2005. Under his watch, the profits for the team have been the highest in team history for most of the decade.

Reynolds is from Foam Lake and a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children.
