The Carlton Crusaders Senior A boys’ volleyball team wins their fifth gold medal of the year.

They played hometown rival St. Mary Marauders in the finals and swept them in straight sets, winning the first 26-24, then the second 25-15.

“Our practices are very completive; everyone is always giving it their all and wants to improve as a team. We have also been learning about the mental aspects of the game which has had positive results,” said Grade 11 Thomas McIntosh.

Carlton has been led by their nine senior players, some which have been playing on the Senior A team since Grade 9. This has allowed them to gain a lot of experience and chemistry with each other.
