Spiritwood man pleads guilty to drug charges

There will be no trial for a man who was arrested in Spiritwood last month and charged with drug trafficking.

Daniel Omer Guimond, 48, pleaded guilty this week to two counts related to the possession of cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

The charges date back to Sept.18. Police arrested Guimond following a search of his residence.

Guimond has been sentenced to 15 months in jail.
