Two dead, one injured after rollover

Saturday morning at around 5 a.m. Big River RCMP responded to a pickup truck rollover on the 793 grid road on the Big River First Nation. 

RCMP said the driver of the 2004 GMC envoy was travelling west on the 793 grid road when he lost control.

Officials said after the truck rolled several times, it ended up in the ditch on the south side of the road. 

Two men, 26 and 28, were pronounced dead on scene. A third man who was in the car was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

An RCMP traffic re-constructionist was on the scene and assisting with the investigation.

Travel on the 793 grid road through the Big River First Nation was delayed during the late afternoon.

So far, RCMP have not released the names of the men involved.
