Carlton and St. Mary soccer teams at Provincials

The provincial high school soccer championships run Friday and Saturday.

The boys are playing in Prince Albert behind Carlton High School, while the girls are playing in Saskatoon.

Friday afternoon the St. Mary boys beat Estevan 6-1.

Thomas Favel scored twice for St. Mary.

Carlton boys are 0-2.  They lost 1-0 to Regina Leboldus Friday afternoon, and 2-1 to Yorkton Regional in the morning game.

The St. Mary boys had a 3 p.m. game against Regina Miller.

Girls Soccer 

The Prince Albert Carlton Comprehensive High School senior girls’ soccer team will play for the bronze on Saturday.

In the early game Friday, they beat Swift Current 1-0. 

In the afternoon, the girls lost 2-1 to St. Joseph school in Saskatoon . The game went to a shootout.

St. Mary girls beat Weyburn 5-0 Friday morning. They had a 3 p.m. game against Regina Campbell.
