Soldier shot dead in Ottawa identified

CBC and Globe and Mail are both confirming the identity of the soldier who was shot and killed at the National War Memorial in Ottawa as Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, a member of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, a regiment of Reserve Forces based in Hamilton.

CBS News is also saying U.S. officials told them the name of the dead Ottawa shooting suspect is Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, a Canadian born in 1982.
