Man in critical condition, major crimes investigating

Saskatoon Police Major Crimes Section is investigation after a man was sent to hospital in critical condition Friday evening.

Details are sparse but police say they got a call about an intoxicated person in the area of Avenue E North and 30th Street West around 5:50 p.m.

When they arrived, police found an unresponsive 51-year-old man who was taken to hospital for assessment. At the hospital, police found out the man was in critical condition.

The man’s injuries are unknown.

An investigation is being conducted by the Major Crime Section and the Forensic Identification Section with assistance from Patrol Services.
