A 25-year-old man is going to jail for the death of Dustin Boulet.

Estevan Fuenzalida was sentenced to two years in jail but will spend less than a year behind bars after time served on remand. He pleaded guilty earlier this month to manslaughter and two counts of being an accessory after the fact to aggravated assault.

Boulet was stabbed outside Bridges Ale House on March 1 while celebrating his birthday. Friends say he was trying to break up a fight.

Fuenzalida read a letter in court apologizing to the Boulet family, saying his actions were “foolish, irresponsible and careless.”
