Blazers overtake Mintos 3-2

Sep 21, 2014 | 8:29 AM

An exciting afternoon Saturday for hockey fans as the Prince Albert Mintos faced off against the Saskatoon Blazers at the Art Hauser Center.

The ticket sales showed around two hundred people attended the mid-day game. This is down from previous preseason games which saw around four hundred spectators.

However, the less than average turnout did not stop die-hard fans from cheering on their team.

The Blazers dominated the first part of the second period. The Mintos just could not get the puck past the defence.
