Two dominant Saskatchewan Roughriders are being recognized with CFL Player of the Month Awards.

On Wednesday, John Chick was named defensive player of the month for August while Rob Bagg was recognized as Canadian player of the month.

Chick picks up the defensive player recognition for the second-straight month. In August, Chick registered 12 defensive tackles, six quarterback sacks and one forced fumble. Chick leads the league for 12 quarterback sacks on the season.

Meanwhile, Bagg collected 23 receptions for 357 yards and a touchdown in August. This is his first time being named player of the month.
