Five former FSIN chiefs plea for Chief Guy Lonechild to resign

Five of the six past chiefs of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN) are asking current Chief Guy Lonechild to resign.

“The issue here is, it's not just Sol (Sanderson) and I, and it's not just the senate, it's former chiefs of the federation,” said Senator Roland Crowe.

Crowe insists this is not a judgment of Lonechild's character. It was recently revealed that Lonechild was charged with impaired driving before he was elected.
What Crowe is concerned with is the negative affect his decisions are having on the FSIN.

“It's difficult for good things to happen when we're under this kind of criticism,” said Crowe.
