Amber Holland wraps up round robin at Scotties with 9-2 record

It's probably not the way Amber Holland and Team Saskatchewan wanted to head into the page playoffs at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

Saskatchewan blew a 5-1 lead and lost 8-5 to Kelly Scott and British Columbia in Draw 17 Thursday night.

The loss drops Saskatchewan's record to 9-2 — still good enough to secure first place in the round robin standings. B.C. needed to win twice on Thursday to finish with a 7-4 record, earning a berth in a Friday tiebreaker with Nova Scotia.

Saskatchewan scored four in the 4th end Thursday evening and carried a 5-2 lead into the 5th end break. But then B.C. stole singles in four straight ends before stealing two more in the 10th.
