Saskatchewan Roughriders re-sign Sean Lucas

The Sakatchewan Roughriders re-signed linebacker Sean Lucas to a contract Thursday afternoon.

I'm  looking forward to working with the new coaching staff, said Lucas.

“We got some young guys and we got a new scheme so I think it will be a little bit of a learning curve. But with the older guys we can bring the younger guys along. We play as a team and we're all good friends so I think that's the most important thing for a good working relationship.”

Lucas has spent the past five years with the team and was a CFL West Division All-Star back in 2009.

Last year he had 71 defensive tackles with one quarterback sack.
