Bail hearing set for man accused of multi-vehicle hit and run

A bail hearing is set for a19-year-old accused of hitting a car while intoxicated, hitting two other vehicles while fleeing the scene and then running away from police after that.

Braden Taylor Herman was wearing a green tank top and had scratches on his head as he sat in the prisoner’s box at the Prince Albert Provincial Court on Monday.

He was arrested on Saturday night after police enlisted the help of their K9, Jagger, after the driver had fled the vehicle on foot, according to officials. 

He was in court on Monday facing charges of assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of failure to stop at the scene of an accident, operating a vehicle while impaired, and failing to comply with a probation order.
