Bowling event raised $3,000 for stuttering therapy

A bowling event at the Minto Bowl on Saturday raised $3,000 to send people to Edmonton for stuttering therapy.

The money was raised by local speech pathologists and audiologists, and was given to the Prince Albert Elks to help families travel to attend the therapy at the International Stuttering Treatment and Research program.

Among the sponsors were Carlton Train Hearing Clinic, Canadian Tire, Brett Elliot at Sun Life Financial, GoodLife Fitness, Joan Kidd, PA Coop, PA Elks, Pa Raiders, Riverside Hyundai, Riverside Dodge, Scentsy by Deb Ozmum and Viterra.
