PA Ambulance changes its radio system

Prince Albert Parkland Ambulance is changing its radio system.

It's changing from the FleetNet radio system to the new Provincial Public Safety Radio Network.
Lyle Karasiuk, public affairs director, and said they've made the switch because Sasktel isn't going to put anymore enhancements into their current system.

“In order to maintain safe, reliable communications, this was the recommended alternative,” said Karasiuk.

Karasiuk explained the new system has its faults, but benefits too.
