Durant to miss Riders mini-camp

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be without their leader for this weekend's mini-camp in Bradenton, Florida.

The team says quarterback Darian Durant is sick so will not be participating in the camp.

Durant wasn't expected to do too much work for the camp that will see the Riders evaluate their new faces, negotiation list players and some potential free agents.

The on-field portion of the camp begins at 9am EST on Saturday morning and will wrap up on Sunday morning.

The team is bringing roughly 60 players to the camp at the IMG Academy.
