3rd annual Max Clunie Award recipient named

A third recipient of the annual Max Clunie Award has been named.
Logan Cherewyk of the Midget White Stars received the award on Sunday.
The Max Clunie Award is in recognition of Max Clunie who was killed in a plane crash nearly two summers ago. It is given to the player who excelled in leadership qualities and determination, and shows they never lose heart.
Last year, the award went to a friend of Clunie, Ryland Gibb who was also a teammate of Clunie when they played together on the Prince Albert River Riders.
