Venice House Pirates moving on to finals

Feb 10, 2011 | 6:05 AM

There were plenty of goals scored in the final game of a best of three matchup, between the Prince Albert Venice House Pirates and Warman Wildcats.

Unfortunately for Warman, most of them were scored by the Pirates.

Prince Albert thrashed Warman by a score of eight to three and is moving on to the Bantam AA provincial finals.

“It feels great. We’ve had some good battles against Warman all year. You know, we kind of struggled after Christmas, kind of got into a bit of a lull. The boys just started playing well the last three or four games,” said the Pirates head coach Shawn Phaneuf.
