Power restored in Hague

Feb 5, 2011 | 6:30 AM

A widespread power outage affecting several communities north of Saskatoon does not appear to be connected to a fire in the town of Hague.

News Talk Radio listener Chris Roy says he saw a bright flash, like an explosion while passing through Hague Friday night. He said the town then went dark, and the only light that could be seen was a fire on the town's north edge.

However, Jim lives in Hague and says the fire is no accident.

“They have taken our elevator down and today they were burning it,” he explained.
