Feb 4, 2011 | 9:53 PM

Jordan Rowley led the Prince Albert Raiders to a 4-3 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday night at the Art Hauser Centre.

After a scoreless first period, Rowley opened the scoring 1:05 into the second with a power play goal. Brandon Herrod passed the puck across the blue line to Rowley who made no mistake on the one time slap shot.

The Raiders struck again just three minutes later after Shane Danyluk stripped the puck from the Hurricane defender in the corner and fed a back hand pass to Charles Wells who tapped in his first goal as Raider and extended their lead to 2-0.

At 6:47 of the second, Rowley shoot the puck in from the blue line to keep it in the offensive zone and Andrew Herle was able to collect the puck beat goaltender Brandon Anderson to extend their lead to 3-0.

10 seconds later, after a Raider turnover, the Hurricanes got on the board and cut the lead to two.

The Raiders would capitalize on another power play goal to extend their lead to three before the period was done. James Bettauer one timed an Igor Revenko cross ice pass from just off the half wall that beat Anderson to give the Raiders a 4-1 advantage heading into the third.

The Hurricanes would push back with two goals in a playoff like third period but were unable to find the equalizer and the Raiders earned the 4-3 victory.

Jordan Rowley had one goal and two assists in the win and James Bettauer picked up one of each to lead the Raiders to victory.

The Raiders are in Regina tomorrow to take on the Pats and welcome the Swift Current Broncos to the Art Hauser Centre on Wednesday.
