Employment numbers climbing in Prince Albert

According to Statistics Canada, more people in Prince Albert are collecting a paycheque.

During the fourth quarter of last year 23,200 people were working in the city. This compares with 22,200 during the same time period in 2012.

This means 66.5 per cent of the population, at the working age, had a job—that is up from 64.3 per cent in 2012.

The national unemployment rate numbers were released Friday.
