Police kept busy over the weekend

According to the Prince Albert police service, 38 people were arrested during the weekend — 17 for intoxication.

Police said there were no major incidents.

Also this weekend police were conducting checks of local liquor establishments.

A 19-year-old man from the Muskoday First Nation is facing charges after failing to produce identification and provided a false name to police.

Police also observed him trying to hide something — it turned out to be cocaine.

The man was charged with possession of cocaine.

He has been released from custody on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
