Dec 8, 2013 | 7:37 AM

Despite the fact that Josh Morrisey, Sawyer Lange, and Mike Winther were all out of the lineup due to injuries and illnesses, the Raiders battled right to the final buzzer before falling 4-3 to the Tigers in Medicine Hat.

They battled back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-1 to tie it at three in the third period on Leon Draisaitl’s unassisted shorthanded goal. But the Tigers would get the winner from Ty Stanton on that same power play with just over six minutes remaining.

Also scoring for the Raiders, Reid Gardiner got his thirteenth of the year on a second-period power play.

The Raiders ended the night 1 for 3 on the net advantage but would give up two goals n five Medicine Hat power plays.
