Bail hearing of man accused of murdering son delayed until new year

Dec 4, 2013 | 11:21 AM

A man accused of killing his own son will not make his next appearance in the Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Prince Albert until next year.

Until then, 66-year-old Larry McDougald will remain in custody while waiting to whether or not he will receive bail.

McDougald was arrested at the end of October when he allegedly shot his own son, Terry McDougald, 45, and fired his weapon at another man and pointed it at a third on a rural property north of Prince Albert.

The younger McDougald died from his injuries.
