Raiders drop 4th straight

Jan 26, 2011 | 9:54 PM

The Prince Albert Raiders dropped their 4th straight on Wednesday night, falling 3-2 to the Medicine Hat Tigers at the Art Hauser Centre.

The Tigers took advantage of an early Prince Albert penalty, scoring a power play marker 1:51 into the first period. They would add another power play goal at 11:59 of the period to take a 2-0 lead into the second.

The Raiders would respond at 3:37 of the second when Brandon Herrod was able to collect the rebound from a Tyler Yaworski point shot and beat goaltender Tyler Bunz to cut the lead to 2-1. Before that goal could be announced Herrod would strip the puck from the Tiger defender and find Jonathan Parker in front of the net to tie the game at two with a pair of goals just 29 seconds apart.

The Tigers would score the game winner midway through the second to earn the 3-2 victory.
