Quite the site

Constuction equipment is on the banks of the South Saskatchewan river.

Trucks began hauling more than 200 thousand tonnes worth of material to the new St. Louis Bridge site, today.

This marks the beginning of construction on the south bridge approach off of Highway 2.

The new bridge will be built 1.6 kilometers east of the existing St. Louis Bridge — the location was chosen in 2001 following community consultation.
