SIAST strike possible again

Another setback in the contract talks at SIAST.

The mediated talks between the employer and its instructors union SGEU have broken down.

A spokesperson for the union said that management put forward a final package that was offering less than what was on the table earlier this month.

The offer tabled by SIAST proposes a 5.5 per cent wage increase over three years.
