Saskatchewan could see flu soon

In Ontario and Manitoba, health care workers are already battling a busy flu season, but so far the bug isn't causing too much trouble here.

This could change in the near future, said Dr. Saqib Shahab, Saskatchewan’s deputy chief medical health officer.

“We expect to see influenza throughout the province, picking up over the next week or two,”

Though most cases of the flu go unreported, the Ministry of Health has confirmed more than a dozen cases in the last couple of weeks.
