Council to appoint acting city manager Monday

Sep 20, 2013 | 12:14 PM

Prince Albert city council could officially appoint a new acting city manager as soon as this Monday.

Council will be voting on the appointment of Chris Cvik as the acting city manager.

Mayor Greg Dionne temporarily appointed Cvik as the acting city manager to fill the now vacant position Sept. 10 after the city and former city manager Robert Cotterill parted ways.

Cotterill’s contract was set to expire in February 2015, but council decided to end his contract early and pay him 11 months of his salary.
