Aug 21, 2013 | 6:18 AM

As summer continues, so do the road restrictions in Prince Albert.

Starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Ninth Avenue West from 17th to 25th Street will be closed for water works repairs.

These repairs are expected to last until the end of Friday, but the street will be open to local traffic.

The City of Prince Albert would like to advise motorists trying to access the Victoria Hospital to travel by 25th or 28th Street.

Rear lane pavement upgrades

Asphalt repaving in the rear lane from Muzzy Drive to Attree Bay is scheduled to begin Thursday.

The City of Prince Albert is advising motorists the rear lane won’t be available for two to three days.

Drivers are asked to avoid driving on the fresh asphalt to prevent ruts beings formed. Barricades will be removed by city staff when the new surface is ready for use.

Watch for detours while work is being conducted and remove vehicles out of the work zones because there will be no access during the construction period.
