Saskatchewan gets a C+, about middle of the pack.

Steps have been taken to reduce red tape, such as putting info online to improve access to critical information.

But, the CFIB says there's still a lot of work to be done.

“It's a little bit like in the library with the lights shut off, you just don't know where you're going or what you're going to find, so they need to be much more focused in that front,” said Marilyn Braun-Pollin with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business in Saskatchewan.
