SIAST votes to Strike

Oct 8, 2010 | 5:00 PM

More than 720 support staff at Saskatchewan's four SIAST campuses are prepared to go on strike.
The S-G-E-U members have voted 78 per cent in favour of strike action.
The professional services staff are frustrated over negotiations on a new contact – wages and benefits are they key issues.
The post-secondary institution is offering four per cent over three years, which the union says isn't enough.
