McNeill still the real deal!!!

Raider Centreman Mark McNeill remains high on the radar screens of NHL scouts.  The 17 year old from Edmonton is ranked 22nd among North American skaters by NHL Central Scouting for this June's draft.  McNeill is also the 5th highest ranking player from the WHL.  The Raiders first round pick in 2008 (5th overall) was 6th among his WHL peers in the previous rankings.

McNeill had a goal and an assist in the Raiders 3-2 shootout win over Brandon on Saturday night.  He also opened the shootout with a goal.  McNeill now lead the Raiders in points (19 goals, 30 assists, 49 points with a +4 rating).

Raider winger Todd Fiddler is ranked 171st among North American skaters.  The 17 year old rookie from Meadow Lake acquired over the summer from Medicine Hat in the Ryan Harrison deal, has 11 goals and 7 assists.  Fiddler is 14th in the WHL Rookie points race and 4th in goals.
