Fire rips through PA home

Jun 16, 2013 | 9:15 AM

The Prince Albert Fire Department was called to a house fire on the 700 block of 15th Street West at around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Nobody in the home was hurt, but the house was badly damaged said battalion chief Gerald Parks, “The home did sustain considerable damage both by fire and smoke.”

Eight firefighters arrived on scene and were able to suppress the fire less than ten minutes after the call came in, said Parks.

There is now word yet on what caused the fire but an investigation into its origin is underway.
