The Raiders have recruited a former Minto to round out its marketing staff. Tom Brown joins the organization after earning a management degree at Michigan Tech University.

Brown was a key defenseman for the Mintos while winning their first national title in 2006 in Charlottetown PEI and captained the team to the 2007 championship in Red Deer.

Before heading to the NCAA, Brown played for the Melfort Mustangs and was a member of Team West at the world junior-A hockey challenge.

Meanwhile the Raiders have renewed the contracts of Athletic Therapist Duane Bartley and Business Manager Bruce Vance. Both have signed on for another two seasons with an option for a third. They have been with the Raiders since 2001.
