It’s been a booming year for the sale of oil and gas rights in Saskatchewan.

In October, the province raked in $34.5 million, bumping the year to date total to $406 million. That compares to $83 million to this point of the year in 2009.

The Weyburn-Estevan area was popular again with $25.5 million worth of bids for oil and gas rights.
