Canadian Blood Services offers Rider prize

Rider fans listen up, Canadian Blood Services wants you to bleed green in the new year.

During January, at every blood donor clinic across Saskatchewan, you can enter to win a retro red hemet signed by Rider player Chris Best.

Moira Kohlenberg with the Red Cross said there is “no off season when it comes to giving blood.”

“We're starting a new year and we're always in need of blood collections. People are still a bit in the holiday mood in the new year, so we're always appreciative of any donations of blood,” Kohlenberg said.

She hopes whether you're a Rider fan or not, you'll make it your new year's resolution to donate blood in 2011.
