Mintos eliminated from the Mac’s

The Prince Albert Mintos run at the Mac's Midget Tournament in Calgary came to an end Thursday with a 4-1 loss to the UFA Bisons. The Mintos opened the scoring on Jason Duret's first perod tally. The Bisons tied the game in the second, then scored three times in the third to put the game out of reach. The Mintos finished third place in pool one with a  2-1-1 record and failed to qualify for Friday's quarter finals. As of Thursday evening tournament officials were not sure whether the Beardy's Black Hawks had qualified.
