Prince Albert band on to next round of regional Searchlight contest

All Mighty Voice has now made the shortlist from the top 20 in Saskatchewan, to the top five of the Searchlight contest searching for the nation’s best new artist.

Their song Movin’ on is featured in a national CBC online contest.

Round three of voting ends Thursday night at 10:59 p.m. local time. People can use their phone, iPad, or laptop to cast a vote. The finalist from Saskatchewan will be announced Friday.

The winning band at the end of the competition will win $20,000 worth of music equipment from Yamaha. They will also be paid to perform at a music showcase in Toronto.
