They've been together as a band for less than two years, but All Mighty Voice (ALM) has a good shot at being named the best in Canada.

The band is featured in an online contest run by CBC. The winning band will win $20,000 worth of music equipment from Yamaha. They will also be paid to perform at a music showcase in Toronto.

“We're super pumped. It's a contest you vote in everyday, so we are just really hoping to get as much publicity as we can to let people know they can support us by voting for us,” said Guitarist Jordy Balicki.

For the contest, you vote for the band's song rather just the band itself. “Moving on” is the lead track off ALM's EP.

“You can vote on whether or not you like the track,” said Balicki. “You can vote every day from every device in your house.”

The band already has made the Top 20 for the Saskatchewan eliminations. Voting in Round Two ends on Sunday night.

Balicki said the band plans to record their debut album in April.
