Mintos, Beardys still undefeated in tournament

After a second round of games in the Mac's tournament in Calgary, two local teams are still holding their ground.

Both the Prince Albert Mintos and Beardy's Blackhawks took to the ice at 10 a.m. Tuesday

Beardy's defeated the Sherwood Park J Ennis Kings 4-1. It gave them their second win of the tournament.

The Mintos played a scoreless game against the Red Deer Optimist Rebels.

Both local teams are undefeated.

Beardy's play again Wednesday at 12:45 p.m. against the San Jose Jr. Sharks.

The Mintos take on the Valley West Hawks Wednesday at 6:15 p.m.
