Mintos, Beardy’s take first game in tournament

The Prince Albert Mintos and Beardy's Blackhawks are in Calgary over the next few days.

They are playing in the annual Mac's tournament.

The Prince Albert boys started off the tournament with a win Sunday. They beat the Winnipeg Wild 4-2.

The Beardy's Blackhawks are also sporting a “W” after yesterday's game.

They took on the Cariboo Cougars in a 3-2 victory.

The Mintos play the Red Deer Optimist Rebels this morning.

Beardy's are back on the ice against the Sherwood Park J.Ennis Kings.

Face off for both games is at 10 a.m.
