Five charged in cocaine trafficking in Saskatoon

Five people from British Columbia are facing charges related to cocaine trafficking in Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Integrated Drug Unit, comprised of officers from the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP's 'F' Division executed a search warrant at a home on the 900 block of Spadina Crescent on Monday morning.

Inside, they found 2,600 individual packages of crack cocaine, totalling 18.5 ounces. They also found a .45-calibre handgun and ammunition.

Other weapons, cell phones and drug-related paraphernalia were also seized.
