Prince Albert man charged in Saskatoon drug bust

There is a Prince Albert connection to a drug bust made in Saskatoon last week.

Michael Wiegers was one of three people charged, after the integrated drug unit searched a home in the town of Shields and in the 200 Block of First Street East in Saskatoon.

Police found numerous guns and drugs including a large amount of crystal meth.

Wiegers is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 28.

Lindsay Worobec was released on $1,000 bail Tuesday afternoon. Troy Chretien remains in custody.
