Presents cheaper than previous Christmases

It may not seem like it when the credit card bill comes due, but many popular Christmas presents are at their cheapest levels of all time.
CNN's Stephanie Elam reported that toys are about half the price they were 20 years ago
“According to the Labour Department, toys today are 55 per cent cheaper than they were in 1980.
Televisions are 93% cheaper than they were in 1980, and clothes are 20 per cent cheaper than what we spent on our threads in 1995. As for those small appliances, they are about 30% cheaper than in 1998,” said Elam.
