Only days before Christmas and a young man has lost his life in a single vehicle crash.

RCMP said it happened early Wednesday morning on a road near Duck Lake.

The passenger, Myles Cameron, 20, was not wearing a seat belt when the vehicle rolled over.

Cameron is a hockey player for the SJHL's Yorkton Terries as well as the Ochapowace Jr 'B' Thunder.

RCMP continues to investigate with a focus on alcohol being a factor and charges are pending.
